Why is The Ultimate Collection more than booking photography and videography separately?
That's a great question—and we're glad you asked.
The Ultimate Collection is not a "bundle" or a "combo." It's a completely different service from booking photography and videography separately.
When you book photography and videography separately, you're hiring two independent vendors. They may have different styles, different timelines, and different priorities. You become the middleman, coordinating between them.
When you book The Ultimate Collection, you're hiring one team—a husband and wife who have worked together for years. We share one creative vision, one timeline, one planning meeting, and one seamless approach to your day. The photos and film complement each other perfectly because they're created by two people who communicate constantly.
The extra investment is not for the photography and videography themselves. It's for the peace of mind, the seamless experience, and the cohesive story that you can't get from two separate vendors.
For many couples, that peace of mind is worth far more than the extra investment.
Can I book photography and videography separately?
Absolutely. We offer both as standalone services. However, we recommend The Ultimate Collection for couples who want the full experience—because the value of a seamless, unified creative team is something our couples consistently tell us was worth every penny.
Do you offer rigid packages?
No. We believe every wedding is unique, and your collection should be too. We begin with a conversation, listen to your vision, and design a custom experience that perfectly aligns with your needs. Our "starting at" prices are simply guidelines to give you a sense of our investment level.
Will my final price be different from the "starting at" price?
Possibly. Your final investment will be customized based on your specific coverage hours, locations, and any additional products or services. We'll provide a fully transparent proposal with no hidden surprises.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer flexible payment plans to make your investment manageable. We'll discuss this during your consultation.
How early should we book you?
We recommend booking 8-16 months in advance to secure your date. We accept a limited number of weddings each month to ensure every couple receives our full attention. Please be reminded that the summer season (June - September) tends to fill up so quickly.
How do we receive our photos and films?
Your final images and films will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you can:

✔ Share with family/friends via secure links
✔ Order professional prints or albums (optional)
Galleries remain active for 12 months for photos and 10 years for video gallery, giving you plenty of time to save and relive your memories.
How does the Same Day Edit work without disrupting our wedding timeline?
Great question! We designate one of our cinematographers to begin editing your ceremony film immediately after it concludes, while the rest of our team continues to capture your reception. We coordinate with your venue and planner in advance to ensure the premiere fits seamlessly into your schedule—no disruption, just a magical moment for you and your guests.
Is the Same Day Edit included in any of your collections?
The Same Day Edit is a premium add-on available to any collection. We recommend it for couples who want to create an unforgettable experience for their guests during the reception.
How long is the Same Day Edit?
Typically 3-5 minutes, capturing the key emotional moments of your ceremony and any pre-ceremony highlights.
Do you include an album?
Yes. A beautiful, handcrafted lay-flat album is available as an upgrade to any collection. Please inquire for details and pricing.
How much time should we allocate for photo and/or video team in our wedding timeline?
For full coverage, we recommend at least 8-10 hours to capture getting ready, ceremony, portraits, and reception highlights. Add 20-45min buffers between events for travel/parking/setup especially for multiple different locations. Tailored packages available for tighter timelines.
How does travel between locations impact our photo and/or video coverage?
Calgary venues often require 30-60min travel time. We'll help cluster locations, avoid midday long-distance travel, and prioritize key moments if needed.
How early should our photo and/or video team arrive for setup?
We typically arrive:
- 60-90min before the ceremony to scout and set up
- 30min before bridal/groom prep
(Rural/mountain venues may require extra time).
Are you legally permitted to operate in Canmore and Banff National Parks?
Absolutely! We operate fully compliant with all regulations.
